The "Blue Zone" concept emerged from a National Geographic research project that identified 5 regions worldwide where people tend to live notably longer. Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica is one of them.
This recognition highlights the lifestyle of its people: community, purpose, natural diet, daily physical activity and strong social bonds. It is not attributed to any specific product.
